Terms of Service

Last updated: June 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RoboBolt website, builder, and services ("RoboBolt," "we," "us"). By using RoboBolt, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use RoboBolt

You may browse and design for free. To purchase a physical product you must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian make the purchase for you. You're responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your login secure.

2. Your account

If you create an account, you're responsible for activity that happens under it. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Designing and ordering

RoboBolt products are custom-made to order based on the design you create. You can design and save bots now; the ability to order physical prints is coming soon. When ordering is available, prices, options, and any taxes or shipping costs will be shown before you confirm. We may correct obvious errors (for example, an incorrectly listed price) and will let you know if that affects your order.

4. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By placing an order you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method for the total shown. We don't store your full card details.

5. Made-to-order, cancellations, and returns

Because each item is custom-printed for you, orders generally can't be cancelled or returned once production has started. If your item arrives defective, damaged, or materially different from what you designed, contact us within a reasonable time and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund. Our full ordering, shipping, and returns details will be published here before ordering goes live.

6. Your design and our content

You own the specific combination and customization choices that make up your design. By submitting a design for production, you give us the limited license needed to manufacture, ship, and showcase it. You confirm your design and any text or customization you add don't infringe anyone else's rights or include unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.

The RoboBolt platform, the underlying parts library, the "RoboBolt Universe," and our names, logos, and lore are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer our parts or models except as allowed by the product you purchase.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse RoboBolt — including by breaking the law, infringing others' rights, attempting to disrupt or hack the service, or using it to create harmful, hateful, or illegal content. We may remove content or restrict access for violations.

8. Service "as is"

RoboBolt is provided "as is" and "as available." We're an early project and the service may change, have bugs, or be temporarily unavailable. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoboBolt and its team won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid us for the order giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as RoboBolt grows. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
