Privacy Policy

RoboBolt ("RoboBolt," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent project based in Colorado, USA. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and robot/car builder, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using RoboBolt, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We try to collect as little as possible. Depending on how you use RoboBolt, this may include:

• Account information. If you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address (handled through our authentication provider, Supabase) so we can identify you and secure your account.
• Your designs. The robots and cars you build are currently saved in your own browser (local storage) on your device. They are not stored on our servers unless and until you place an order or we add cloud saving (which we will describe here when we do).
• Payment information. When ordering becomes available, payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details directly — we never see or store your full card number. We may receive limited details such as your name, the last four digits, and order amount.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our servers and providers may automatically log information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to keep the site running and secure.

How we use your information

• To operate the builder and let you design, save, and (soon) order your creations.
• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To process and fulfill orders, and provide customer support.
• To send you updates you asked for, such as order and account notifications.
• To improve RoboBolt, fix problems, and keep the service safe.

We do not sell your personal information.

How your information is stored and shared

We share information only with the service providers that help us run RoboBolt, and only as needed:

• Supabase — accounts and authentication.
• Stripe — payment processing (when ordering is live).
• Our hosting and infrastructure providers — to serve the website.

These providers handle your data under their own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to make the site work — primarily to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features (like staying logged in) may stop working.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live — including under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) and similar laws such as California's CCPA — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email us at etrocketry@gmail.com and we'll respond as required by law. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, while you have an account or as required for orders, taxes, and legal obligations — then delete or anonymize it.

Children's privacy

RoboBolt is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it. Purchases must be made by an adult.

Changes to this policy

As RoboBolt grows, we may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll provide a more prominent notice.
