Every RoboBolt starts as a design nobody has made before, and ends as a solid, full-colour object in a box with your name on it. Here is the whole journey.
You design it
Everything happens in the browser, in real 3D.
- Pick a body, head, arms and legs — and mix them: a different left and right arm is fair game.
- Paint every part. Ninety-five colours, or dial in any shade you like with the colour picker.
- Add decorations — eyes, vents, saw blades, letters, numbers — and place them anywhere on the surface by clicking the robot.
- Pose it. Turn the head, twist the torso, swing the arms; your robot prints in the pose you leave it in.
You order it
Three sizes, priced by how big the finished piece is.
- Mini at 3 inches, Standard at 5, Premium at 7 — the height of the actual object you receive.
- Premium parts add a little; the price on screen is the price charged, itemised at checkout.
- Your design is saved to your account, so you can come back and order it again later.
We turn it into a print file
This is the part most people never see, and it is where the care goes.
- Every piece you chose is fused into ONE solid object — the arms, the legs, each decoration. Nothing is glued together afterwards.
- The file is then checked three ways: that the solid is completely closed, that it is the exact size promised for your tier, and that every part you picked actually made it in.
- If a decoration is floating off the surface, the builder tells you while you are still designing — a part that cannot print never reaches this stage.
It gets printed in full colour
One piece, printed in colour — not painted afterwards.
- The printer lays colour down as it builds, so your robot comes out coloured all the way through its surface, with no paint to chip.
- The colours in the builder are the printed colours. Every swatch is drawn as it will actually come out, so what you approve is what you unwrap.
- No assembly, no glue, no seams to line up. It arrives as one finished object.
It ships to you
Boxed, and tracked from the moment it leaves.

- When it ships we email you the tracking number.
- It arrives ready to put on a shelf — a one-of-one that started as your idea.

Why it comes out well
Printed as one piece
Your robot is not a kit. Before printing, every part and decoration is fused into a single solid, so there are no joints to snap, no glue to yellow, and nothing to assemble when it arrives.
Checked before it prints
Each print file is verified to be a closed solid at the right size with every chosen part present. If a file does not pass, it does not go to the printer.
Built to a standard
Every part is modelled to the same connector sizes, so any head fits any body and any arm fits any shoulder — which is what lets you mix them freely without anything looking bolted on.
Common questions
How long does it take?
Printing a robot takes hours, not minutes, and it is made only after you order it — nothing sits in a warehouse. You will see the status move through your account, and we email you when it ships.
Will it look like it does on screen?
That is the intention, and it is why the builder renders your robot the way it will print rather than the way a screen would flatter it. Ink on a real object cannot glow the way a backlit screen can, so a few very vivid colours come out slightly softer — the picker tells you when that applies to a colour you have chosen.
Can I change my design after ordering?
Your order freezes a copy of the design at the moment you buy, so later edits in the builder do not change what gets printed. If you need to change an order, contact us before it moves into printing.
Is my robot really one of a kind?
Yes. Every combination of parts, colours, decorations and pose is printed to order. Two people would have to make exactly the same choices to end up with the same bot.
